Contractor Selection Criteria

• Track Record: Request samples of previous work and reach out to clients the contractor has worked with before.
• Licensing & Registration: Ensure the contractor is registered with the Ministry of Housing and relevant licensing authorities.
• Detailed Contract: Never start work without a written contract specifying scope, timeline, cost, and specifications.
• On-Site Supervision: Ensure there is a supervising engineer or hire a consultancy firm to monitor the work.

Important Warning

A low price alone is not a good criterion — many contractors offer low prices then raise costs during execution. Transparency in pricing is more important than the initial number.
